we have been lucky this year no yellow jacket nests in the ground, when we do i find them the hard way, we do have a healthy black snake population this year, only seen 1 copperhead in 19 +years.
@bobm we have carolina wolfs and the Cicada wasps<European hornet> no biggie around here......
And you may keep them. My garter snakes and bull snakes are snake enough. (Plus being beneficial!)copperheads-that's cause they are all down here in my yard
