Didn't see the moon last night. Instead, I was driving home in a gully washer that hid the moon. Was beautiful the night before when we were out at moonrise, though.

This morning I found 2.1 inches of rain in the gauge. Most of it coming within the time I was driving home. With the flood warnings were reports of more than an inch an hour falling in the area.

There was a beautiful sky this morning as well. Didn't get out to see it as I was pro-cras-ti-forum-ing at the time.

My friend commutes to work via boat. He was complaining about the traffic jam today, haha

So pretty!

It is hard to beat photos of sun rises and sun sets over water. . . unless it's over the mountains, deserts, prairies, heck, I guess I just love seeing pictures like these.

Not sunrise around the world, just the view as the sun came up this morning over my home and yards. Had to run back in and hunt for the camera! It's been a long time since I've seen His beautiful promise that things will get better in all its glory, and never right over my property before.

Look closely and you can just spot the second rainbow shadowing above the first. I do so love this place of mine.

It's not the sun. But I can be a lawyer for the moon and protect its interests on this page. Because the moon reflects sunlight at night. When we look at the sun, we see the sunlight. When we look at the moon, we see the sunlight, too. Such a bright moon shone over the city today.
