@journey11 , you might be right although there were no fires burning that I knew of at the time. This is what we sometimes get when there's a fire burning, you can barely make out the sun in the middle down low in the picture. Everything's covered in ash, the same thing happened when Mt. St Helens blew, we were covered in ash for days.

Oh wow, I can't imagine what trouble that would cause for people with breathing problems.
