I usually drive my 2010 Ford Focus, but I do have a 2000 Mercury Sable wagon - my grocery getter Maverick calls it. The gas milage isn't good, but I can carry 8 people comfortably. To me, that makes the gas milage better then driving two cars side by side to the same place.

I bought the big car because DS's first son had handicapping health conditions and I wanted to be able to tote medical equipment easily. He passed well before most of the room was needed. Maverick is hoping to get the wagon when he's old enough to drive.

Yesterday I filled up at a local convenience store at $2.05. Today I returned to purchase bread and milk, the price is now $1.99. I NEVER thought I'd live to see gas below two dollars a gallon in NY again in my lifetime. Not complaining, just saying.
