I suspect that liking the flavor doesn't have anything to do with addictions but disliking may help to avoid them.
I was academically trained by anthropologists, mostly by linguists. That's a bit ironic but I did try to overcome hearing problems during those years by beginning to wear hearing aids.
What I found myself eating, sometimes with no intention and little knowledge, would be somewhat embarrassing to relate. I began eating red meat again during that time. Perhaps I could say that it would have been ironic if I would have tried to continue to not eat meat. Some of those dishes would have been considered "byproducts" and not food by many in this country but, I care only so far as to protect sensibilities and the innocent.

who cannot remember having anything stronger than a beer and is sure of not once having more than 2 of any alcoholic drinks in 2016.
