normally it's around 40-50 rain or snow, but today was a bluebird day light wind and 67.
so nice that I throw on a pair of shorts, broke out the lounge and took in a little sun for a couple hours.

Woke up to flurries AGAIN! It's supposed to snow off and throughout the week. I guess Mother Nature is making up for the early spring last year. The weather people say 50s by the end of the week and I really hope it holds true. I am SOOO ready for spring!

I think the Weather Service really missed with their forecast for the last 24hrs!

It was supposed to be a 60% chance of rain y'day and 80% overnight then, rain today. We have a little of that corn snow in the lawn grass and there were about 5 drops that hit me yesterday afternoon while I was working on the shed! The forecast for today is for a "slight chance" of rain then "Sunny" tomorrow!

There is probably a chance that I can "finish" the shed today and certainly with a sunny afternoon tomorrow! I am so slow!

I love it when the forecast for poor weather doesn't pan out! And so indignant when the forecast is for a sunny day and we get rain.
I'll be working tomorrow so I'm really, really, hoping we do get that sunshine. :coolsun

yesterday had a high of 45 and overcast, took my dog for our morning walk stopped at the garlic patch figured it was a good time to weed it took care of that project.
went by a couple nurseries to look at topsoil for the raised beds, got prices. decided to really get down and figure the best places for them.
plan A nope to tight
plan B nope floods in that area during heavy rain
plan C perfect spot, but 3 gum ball trees there, so sharpened the chain added gas and oil and proceeded to drop one< only 6" of the mark> limbed and bucked it up.
since I have a bad back called it a day.

today bluebird skies and 50, but had to go into work and replace the packing's on 2 of the autoclaves, got home and cleaned up the mess. figured it was time the remove tree # 2 which has a very bad lean to it.
if not cut right it's going to take out our well, or take out the power lines, so got the chains and come a long got it all rigged up and the wind picks up. strong steady from the north east the wrong direction that I needed.
needless to say it's still standing, well for another week.

Today it is BEAUTIFUL! It is probably 70 degrees in the sun. The farm is so pretty,

Unfortunately I'm sick. I haven't been this sick since the flu in 2000 where I was delerious with fever for 4 days. Just glad a friend was visiting. I have no idea how the kids ate or anything....:idunno

If I had any energy I would weed eat. I have been out to the greenhouse and my onions are coming up, all my tomatoes are up, cauliflower, brussles prouts, a, and my eggplant are up. I will post pics soon.
ageratum, some zinias and allysum, some peppers

Anyway, it's dreamy. I'm laying here typing with gardeners instead of gardening.

Maybe next weekend!

Oh April, if you have what I have, I soooooooooooooooooo understand!!!!!!!!!!!

24 hours of thinking about if you should make sure your will is up to date!

Then it gets better. Take it easy. Let your body cleanse your gut from both directions, but try to make sure someone is near so you don't choke. (nearest person from me during that time was over the hill almost 2 raven flying miles away). It'll turn to basically liquid, both ends.

Rest. Breathe. Sip some water. It'll come out, but hopefully on the far end. Day 2, don't be too far from the bathroom, have the softest toilet paper...reality folks! Body is cleansing out the digestive system. Day 3, same, reducing. You notice waist feels thinner. It's empty in there. chicken soup beginning day 2...teaspoon at a time...day 3, soup that has meat in it.

My sister had it too. She thought she had Bubonic Plague! That's what it can feel like.

Actually, looks like Queen Elizabeth may have this bug too. At 84 they took her to the hospital. She's a tough ole gal, she'll be ok. She had to postpone a trip to Italy though, where she wants to make sure the newly elected officials are still friends and to offer support.

We are looking at 4-6" tonight. :( I'm tired of winter! Bring on the spring!!! Supposed to be up to 60 by Sunday, so I'm keeping my focus on that.
