i will not be planting much out until early to mid-April at the soonest. good luck to you and your seedlings/sprouts/plantlets :)
Yes, those already in the raised beds are the best frost-hardy ones, just a bit shock to see -9 degrees C. However, it didn't happen, or it happened somewhere else in the region.

Some took cover in the small hut for tools.

Some got blankets.

And some went inside for a night of better sleep.

@digitS' you swimming there yet?
I think that I may be able to leave the life preservers and pool noodles on the shelf for now ;).

There was nearly 3/4" of an inch of rain that fell. Added to February total, it only added to enuf to about double that.

Checked the nearest Snotel on Quartz Peak and it looks okay. The rain up there looks to be settling into and adding to the snow cover - so far. The day at nearly 1 mile up did start out well above freezing. Mountain Passes look okay, altho there was discussion yesterday on avalanche concerns on one over the Cascades.

tried to punch some holes in the "hell strip" with an iron bar. couldn't get very deep. trying to drain the puddles on the sidewalk through that frozen ground. might have helped, no puddle this morning :)

Today I can feel spring in the air! It felt around 50 degrees! There was a light sea breeze all day and the clouds were extra pretty (mashed potato clouds with super blue sky in the background). I heard some birds singing in a tree on my walk this afternoon!
